The Fat Kid reporting. . .
Upper Arlington – As previously reported The Shadow has been trying to build a flying saucer that would allow him to get the hell out of the Milky Way before its utter destruction, and there have been conflicting stories regarding his success or failure in that venture. Today, however, Upper Arlington (including my apartment) was abuzz about a saucer sighted in broad daylight, in a highly populated area just a quarter of a mile from his home under Shadow Bridge.

This saucer was seen hovering over a silver Chevy Impala, right outside The Fat Kid’s apartment. Based on the size of the car, we calculate that the saucer was at least 10 feet long.
This afternoon things were a little strange. Around 1:30 PM the power in my apartment went out. There were thunderstorms off and on all day, so this wasn’t completely unexpected, but at that time it hadn’t even rained for an hour or more, let alone thundered. I took out my cell phone to try to call AEP , but my cell was dead, too. At first I thought I had accidentally turned it off, but it was just plain dead. Sensing that something unusual was going on, I looked out my window to see if the weather was worse than I had thought but, as you have seen by now, it was not. There was a small disc-shaped craft literally right outside my window, hovering about six feet off the ground. It stayed motionless for several seconds before slowly drifting off toward the south, where it stopped again, and hovered over a silver Impala in the parking lot. At that time the power in my building returned, my cell phone blazed right up, and I was lucky enough to get a couple shots of it with my cell phone camera before it shot off as UFO’s do – straight up in the air.
On seeing this object, my thoughts instantly centered on The Shadow. He has been around-but-elusive as he often is when he has something in the works, and after hearing from the hobos around Shadow Bridge, I didn’t know what to expect. The Shadow is still not speaking to anyone, and is never home when I show up (though he has been seen him in the area) so there is neither confirmation nor denial that this is his craft. However, as we all know, this is not the first saucer sighting in Upper Arlington.
As long-time readers will recall, in June of 2009 a silver saucer was sighted hovering above the then-still-under-construction new/old Upper Arlington monument – a saucer that may or may not have been the one later taken down by The Shadow and subsequently recovered by the government in an incident now famously known as the Third Avenue Saucer Crash. Whether that saucer was the same one outside my apartment this afternoon was a question for me until I compared the old photograph with the one I took today.

This saucer was photographed in June of 2009, hovering above the still-under-construction new/old Upper Arlington monument, which is now known to be a power station for saucers.
As you can see the ’09 saucer, though disc-shaped and clearly a “classic saucer,” has many differences from the one I saw this afternoon. The ’09 saucer was much larger, had protruding landing gear, was slimmer, and appeared to have a segmented body, whereas the saucer I photographed today appears thicker, has no visible landing gear, has a single body rather than a series of segments or sub-frames, and a surface almost like corrugated aluminum. They are not the same craft, then, though that fact does not preclude their having the same origin. Neither, however, does it preclude the idea that today’s saucer was built and operated by The Shadow. I will continue to try to get The Shadow to talk, but can make no prediction as to whether he will or not, or whether he will ever be seen again given that he may have a working space craft, and fully developed plans to re-settle in the Triangulum Galaxy.
Check back for updates!
